All Saints' Church in Gosforth is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year and as part of the celebratiions there is to be a festival of flowers, art and music over the weekend of Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July ( all day Saturday, afternoon only Sunday). During the days the flower festival will be open in church and we hope to have lots of short (20 - 25 minute) musical interludes for the visitors to enjoy while looking at the flowers.
There will be art exhibits in the church hall, refreshments, light lunch on the Saturday and, hopefully, weather permitting, events on the church green, as well as the flower displays for all to enjoy.
If we can muster a balanced choir we could take one of the slots. Can you please let Enid know on em@meikleriggs.org.uk as soon as possible if you are able and would like to take part and, if so, whether you would prefer Saturday morning or afternoon or Sunday afternoon?
