Dear Enid,
Just to thank you again
for organising last night's concert at Holy Saviours' church. Several
people at church this morning commented on how much they had enjoyed it.
Interestingly too were those who would have liked to come but had been to see a
musical produced by the pupils of Kings Priory school at the school last night.
I do hope that you
might consider paying us a return visit on an evening when there is less
musical competition.
I've attached a short
article which I will put into the next church magazine.
If you could email me a
photograph from your husband , I would like to attach that to the article.
Thanks again and enjoy your singing.
I would like to send a
thank you note to Ed but do not have a contact address for him . Perhaps
therefor you could pass on my thanks to him.
Best wishes Linda
Sage Gateshead Chamber
Choir’s Spring Choral Celebration on Saturday March 29th.
The audience for the end
of term concert by the Sage Chamber Choir enjoyed an evening of wonderful
music. Despite the unseasonably cold
weather, we were warmed by their passion and enthusiasm. In a very varied programme, we heard songs
from Gibbons, Greig, Tchaikovsky and Macmillan amongst others. The expertise of the choir, which was
conducted by Edward Milner, the head of
Music Learning at the Sage, created singing of the highest calibre.. The piano
and organ music of Jenny Martins was delightful and added to the enjoyment in a
very special evening. We hope that they
will come back again and enjoy the welcome and acoustics of Holy Saviour’s.
The choir generously
donated all the ticket money to the church.
