PLAY Festival

The Sage Gateshead PLAY festival is happening this weekend - celebrating ten years of Learning and Participation's extraordinary life changing activity (of which we are part).

A particular highlight is the Jambone / Brass Jaw gig on Saturday night. Jambone is our Regional Youth Jazz Orchestra, and they're damned good. In this concert they're performing with the DScottish professional quartet, Brass Jaw. If you're into jazz - come along.

    .....and if you get their earlier you'll be able to see Rhythm Explosion (3-4pm on the concourse). It will be Fantastic......although I am a bit biased as my daughter will be playing steel pans! Nicky
