On Sunday 15 April a small SATB choir formed from the ranks of The Sage Gateshead Chamber Choir will be performing ‘live’ on the Classical NE1fm radio programme (see below for details), between 7 and 8pm.
The Easter Sunday edition of Classical NE1fm (8 April) has also developed into a choral special. Stanford, Palestrina, Brahms, Mascagni, Handel and Allegri are all represented – and Puccini chips in with a couple of arias as well.
You can listen in 7-9PM every Sunday on 102.5FM locally, and away from the local area via www.ne1fm.net/listen, and also via the TuneIn app for Smartphones where you can also record the programme.
