Dear Choir,
Thank you so much and many congratulations. You really nailed the Durufle. It was absolutely the right choice to do it again - it needed time to settle - and I think we all want to work with Mike Dutton the organist again. Plus St Mary's was fabulous - nice acoustic, beautiful space, fantastic organ and lovely people.
That concert was a hard sing (maybe a little too hard - I need to remember this for my programming) AND with a significant rehearsal beforehand. Sure the Vittoria was a little warty but what's performing for if not for getting new pieces out there? You sang with real vocal strength throughout and the Harris went well!
Other highlights - Bach! Macmillan!
Thanks for all your hard work and looking forward to a fun summer term. Next stop - Wylam.
Happy Easter / Spring Break / Holidays.

Rehearsal dates
Following the discussions at the rehearsal yesterday, we can confirm that last
night was definitely the last rehearsal of the term.
We resume on Monday 20th April and the final rehearsal of the summer term is on Monday 6th July - a week later than other classes because of the early May Bank Holiday, and 2 days after our summer concert.
