Ryton Choral Society Concert

Dear chamber choir members

We would love you to come to hear us sing in the Ryton Choral Society concert on March 9th, a performance of the Brahms Requiem, as it's in Kings Hall Newcastle and more easily accessible than our Ryton concerts. Singing in Newcastle also means the choir can't depend so much on its Tyne Valley regulars to come, so your support would be enormously appreciated. Attached is a poster with details.  You can also go to our website www.rytonchoralsociety.org.uk (some folk might enjoy the postings on our Facebook page which can be reached from there). It's going to be a great concert, not just with Brahms' amazing Requiem but also lovely lieder and a rare piano duet. Alan Fearon is joining Eileen Bown to for four handed piano.

Choral Glory on the radio rescheduled for this Sunday

23rd March and summer concerts

Thank you for everyone's reply about a possible alternative date for our end of term concert.  I can now confirm that the date is to stay as the 23rd March.

Whilst we are on dates, as stated at rehearsal recently our "big" summer concert will be on 6th July at St Thomas's Church, Haymarket - please put the date in your diary now.

Here is our poster/flyer for the 23rd March concert.  Please distribute it far and wide and as usual encourage as many people as possible to come along. It is an extraordinary (and large) building, not to be missed, so you can lure friends and family on that basis as well as our fabulous singing! photos can be seen here
