From Enid - Soprano or alto needed!
The Fitzsimons Choir, in which I sing, has been asked to sing at a special service in the church at Mitford on Thursday 7th June at 6.30. Kieran Fitzsimons has just sent me an e-mail to say that one of his sopranos has had to drop out and he wonders if anyone from our choir would be able to help out. We usually only have two or three to a part. This service is for the Knights Templar and they will pay expenses to choir members.
If any of the altos offer to sing, I can sing soprano. The music will be quite simple - a plainsong Requiem aeternam, and Bach's "Jesu, joy of man's desiring".
If you can make it please contact me on em@meikleriggs.org.uk
Many thanks
