Oktavists!

Hi Folks,

After months of bothering poor Nicky wt ridiculous posts I can write my own again!


For starters - Oktavists! They sing an 8ve lower than your average bass.

Concert at Whickham - UPDATE REVISED REHEARSAL TIME

Apologies for the change but please could  we start singing at 5.00pm - the church are providing refreshments between the rehearsal and the concert and so we will need time for that.

Concert in Whickham 28 November

The concert on the 28th starts at 7.00pm.  We will have a relatively brief rehearsal starting promptly at 5.30 so please arrive for 5.15 so we have time to sort ourselves out before starting to sing on the dot of 5.30!

Dress is "Black with a Splash" - all black with a small something in a bright colour on your top half e.g. tie, broach, necklace, scarf.

All welcome! To get to Hannington Street, turn  immediately left along Elizabeth Street at the end of Byker Bridge (going towards Byker from the city centre), then left again before the railway bridge.
